mintie whatnot

Welcome. The first 4 blog chaoters contain a funny long-form comic about an egg that thinks it’s Anthony Bourdain. It began as a form of therapy during pandemic lockdown period.
If you’re here because of my watercolour paintings, see temporary blog chapters 5 and 6 with sold works and available works.
Feel free to leave a message at mintiewhatnot@mintiewhatnot.com – Or info@mintiewhatnot.com. – YES I DO COMMISSIONS, am in the middle of one right now – prices range, so far, from $120 to $450 for framed works. Price for individually drawn and painted cards depends on the design, and number of cards.
ABOUT
mintie whatnot is still trying to ignore rules of punctuation, inconsistently.
Other interests include baking cakes without a recipe, irregular sleep hours & ampersands.
Dislikes intensely: books, yoga, and wine, if listed together as the only interests of anyone on social media

‘Fergus the Fly’ hand-drawn animation, 800 frames, about 4mins on super-8 film
Exhibitions of paintings and drawings in cocktail bars, mansions, shop windows and one theatre
Large and small batches of handmade Christmas cards, drawn and coloured individually
Series of colour character graphic designs for permanent application on a white Porsche. The owner’s son said they would never speak to their dad again if he got the dancing parrot etc put on the car. Dad did it anyway.
Hand painting on life-sized and miniature Berlin Bear mascot figures (3D). The life-sized bear is bolted onto a concrete block in the purchaser’s garden, after being sealed with car laquer. One of the mini bears went to the Morroccan ambassador to Germany at the time
